Welcome to my practice of Pediatric Medicine.  As your child’s Pediatrician, We advocate open communication between our patients, their parents, and myself.  It’s our goal that when our patients and their parents leave my office, they’re happy, comfortable, and we all understand each other.  We hope to work in concert with you to enable your children to reap all the rewards that life has to offer.  I am on staff at Little Company of Mary Hospital and Advocate Children’s Hospital next to Advocate Christ Hospital..

Dr. John received her M.D. with distinction in Pathology from St. John’s Medical College at Bangalore  University, India.  She completed her Pediatric training at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.  For four years she served as Clinical Director at the Humana-Michael Reese Health Plan.  She is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics.  She has been a featured speaker at medical conferences and has co-authored articles in medical journals. Dr. John’s outside interests include athletics, dramatics, and music, for which she garnered several awards while in college.  She still utilized her musical skills in her practice, singing to calm some of her younger patients.  She is married to noted ophthalmologist Dr. Thomas John.

We provides primary care for children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers.

Dr. John are physicians who specialize in treating children of all ages, providing comprehensive medical care for infants, children and adolescents. Pediatricians serve as primary care providers, being the first point of contact when a patient is sick. Dr. John is trained to provide well-rounded medical care for children of all ages, working closely with the patient's parents and family to ensure that the child is developing and maturing properly.
